Michael R. Demerath

Michael R. Demerath assists his business and real estate clients with the formation of business entities, operating and buy/sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, trademarks, franchises, collections and commercial litigation, creditor’s rights (bankruptcy and Chapter 128 receivership), commercial real estate purchases, sales and leasing, construction liens, banking and financial transactions and general counsel matters.

Mike received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from St. Norbert College in 2003 and his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, with a Certificate in Taxation, in 2007. Mike, a native of Seymour, Wisconsin, began practicing in Chicago, Illinois before returning to the Green Bay area to be closer to his family. Mike is currently admitted to practice before the courts in the State of Wisconsin, the State of Illinois, the State of Michigan and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.

Mike is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of  St. Norbert College, Past-President of the St. Norbert College Alumni Board, President of The First Tee of Northeast Wisconsin and a Captain of Best Christmas Ever.  Mike is also a graduate of the Greater Green Bay Chamber Leadership Green Bay program, a 2015 Future 15 Young Professional Award recipient, a past member of the Phoenix Recruit Young Professionals Group, and a past President of the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club.  Mike is a past President of the Brown County Bar Association – Young Lawyers Association and has coached the Southwest High School Mock Trial team.

Mike and his wife, Sara, currently reside in Green Bay, along with their daughter and son.
