Meet Nicholas
Nicholas J. Linz assists his clients in a wide range of business and civil litigation needs, including construction and lien law, contract disputes, collections, residential and commercial real estate matters, easements, foreclosures, residential and commercial lease disputes, landlord/tenant disputes and trust litigation. Nick also assists his clients in a wide range of employment-related matters, including the review, enforcement and drafting of employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and employee handbooks, the and defense of claims brought by employees before the Dept. of Workforce Development and in Federal Court. Nick often acts as a resource to human resource managers on day-to-day employment-related matters including FMLA claims, policy enforcement, terminations, wage and benefit issues, and vacation, PTO and other leave requests.
Nick received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2004 and his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2007. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Nick practiced in Milwaukee before returning to Green Bay to be closer to his family. Nick practiced in the Green Bay area before joining Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. He is admitted to practice before the courts in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Nick is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Brown County Bar Association. Nick is the former president of the Ashwaubenon Business Association and the Allouez Optimist Club. Nick was a member of the Greater Green Bay Chamber Leadership Green Bay class of 2016 and was a 2017 Future 15 Award Winner. Nick also sits on the Board of Directors for the Allouez Optimist Club.
