Emily E. Ames
Attorney
Emily is an associate attorney with Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. She practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and elder law and special needs planning. She also advises clients on the formation and sale of businesses, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, buy/sell agreements, and commercial and residential real estate matters.
Emily obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as a managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, a class representative for the Student Bar Association, and an intern for the Honorable Shirley S. Abrahamson, Wisconsin Supreme Court. Emily is a native of northern lower Michigan and practiced in the Green Bay area before joining Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C.
Emily is president of the Brown County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Association, a member of the Rotary Club of Green Bay, and her professional affiliations include membership in the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. and the Green Bay Estate Planning Forum. She serves as chair of the Current Young Professionals Community Partnerships Committee and a member of the Leadership Team, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement Green Bay and the Allouez Business Association.
